TECHNICAL SUPPORT The maintenance of a Seahorse is comparable to a boat maintenance, all equipment are marine standard and can be purchased anywhere. Specific parts can be shipped from the factory. Though a yearly maintenance contract is available, it includes the visit of a technician and the replacement of used or defective parts at no additional cost except for the batteries. However we respond within 24 hours to any phone or online inquiries for repairs or maintenance. TRAINING AND SCHOOL Operating a Seahorse is easy, there is no requirements but a scuba certification and a US Coast Guard Captain licence if you charter it. Each Seahorse Submarine comes with a self training program, video and manual, it is a step by step program which allows you to learn by yourself in a safe manner how to pilot the sub. Private pilot certification is issued after review of 5 hours Seahorse inboard video tape system, commercial pilot certification issued after 20 hours tape review, and online exam. However training programs and instructor pilots are available if you need assistance, call for location and training sessions. Pilot training manual and pilot manual available for purchase.
